Nothing is more enchanting for a child than to listen to a fairytale. There is great wisdom in these ancient stories. They teach the child how to be virtuous, to be brave, to face their fears and never give up. Each tale proves that good always prevails, even though it may be extraordinarily difficult. Telling a story with repetition also helps the child with comprehension skills later in their career as a student. Explains the story afterwards is very helpful, they can more easily understand the lesson. Then, at a later time, when behavior may need a gentle correcting, we can make reference to the story.
