Mother's Day

Mother’s Day gift

The children stitched a heart on burlap, which can be done easily by using a sharpie and drawing the heart first. Then I threaded the needle for my little 4 year olds and helped then see that the needle was a train. The needle went in and out of the burlap holes creating a tunnel for the train to go through and then the train kept going through the hole until it got to the caboose. The kids got the hang of it pretty quickly! The heart was turned over so the sharpie marking was disguised and glue gunned onto a mason jar. They then wrote a little note that said… For all the little things I love so much… They decorated the mason jars and I glue gunned what they chose onto the jar. A ribbon was wrapped around the lid as well.
