Creating with a pattern is fun! You can talk about the amazing circle! The circle is all around us! The sun, the earth, the moon and planets are only the ones in the sky. Can you see where there are circles in nature, all around us? Have a few items that inspire you from nature that have the form of the circle in them. You can even think of the half circle, the arc, and the beautiful rainbow, the setting sun, the half moon, the hills… so many arcs all around us!
Once the children are inspired, have them choose their shape and repeat it in a pattern, just as nature repeats a pattern. Enjoy!!
