After doing a demonstration on how to use the watercolor pallet correctly, a child created this masterpiece!
Here are a few tips to tell the children:
1. The biggest secret to a great watercolor painting is clean water!
2. The second biggest secret is to never mix the color on the color pallet, it makes the color muddy. What you do is you first clean your brush, and you wipe it on a towel to see what color comes out. When the brush paints no color, it is clean and ready for a new pigment! Then you can add the new color to your paper, and blend it if you like with the others.
